Home Visits

If your condition prevents you from attending the surgery, please telephone your request as soon as possible , and in any case before 10:30am. If possible please give the receptionist some information about the problem in order that they may pass this onto the GP.

Sometimes the doctor may ring you before they visit to decide on the most appropriate course of action.

Please be aware a lack of transport is not classified as a reason for a home visit.

Where possible we prefer you to attend the surgery.  This will then allow the practice to provide care for another 3 or 4 patients in the time a home visit would take.  In addition patients are then seen in the most optimum environment with the right equipment, full medical records and other health care professionals for advice where required.

Patient care is optimised if you can attend the surgery.
