I completed my Batchelor of Science honours degree and RGN training in 1989 at Jimmy’s – St James’ University Hospital in Leeds. I moved to Chester in 1991 and trained as a midwife. After having three children of my own I joined a health visiting team as a part time nurse in a GP practice. We decided to move to the Newcastle area in 2002 as my husband is a ‘Geordie’ and the homing instinct is strong!
I am responsible for chronic disease management, reviews, cystology screening, childhood vaccinations, travel health – to mention but a few!
I enjoy horse riding, gardening and looking after our multiple pets.
